There are hundreds of football clubs in Trinidad & Tobago and although the outside world thinks that cricket is the most-played sport on these islands, the truth is that the most popular sport by far is
football. The home of an array of European professionals: Dwight Yorke,Russell Latapy, Shaka Hislop, Anthony Rougier, Hector Sam, Marvin Andrews, Ian Cox, Carlos Edwards, Stern John and Arnold Dwarika, we have become something of a
factory for producing raw, but talented, soccer players. Everyone in Trinidad & Tobago follows the U.K., European and South American leagues and visits from foreign teams are always treated as important occasions. Special
arrangements are made to ensure that our guests are appropriately feted before (beware!) and after each game. Although football is played on every street corner in the country, we do have many first class facilities which are available to
touring teams, including the Hasley Crawford Stadium, the Queen's Park Oval and the Soccer Centre of Excellence grounds.
